this is all very possible. experience most of this. my longest was 7 days awake. I only sleep about 2 hours at a time. so like sleep for 2 hours awake for an hour or so them sleep for 2 hours then get up for the day. I don't believe there is an OD on melatonin. but I've taken up to 35 mlg and didn't have an effect. now mine is military ptsd stuff so there's that but I will say about once every 3 to 4 months I crash and sleep for like 26 hours

Anxiety can contribute to this. Mothers with babies have serious sleep struggles. Ive had some pretty serious struggles. I take the magnesium CALM meant specifically for sleep. It helps me whenever I get stuck in a insomnia cycle. And it is a cycle. Ones you get going, its hard to stop. Its like being too tired to fall asleep.

I've gone months where 5-6 days of the week I would sleep only a couple hours and that would be either crunched up in my little sedan or In my tent with no mattress.
